Brew and Feed Added to the Blacktoberfest Beer Festival

Brew and Feed is proud to be a part of growing craft beer by building a unique brand in the space. Part of growing craft beer is building brands that are owned and run by people of color to make craft beer a more inclusive space and open up new markets to craft brewers. To this end, we have been asked to participate in the first annual Blacktoberfest Beer Festival in Rocky Mount, NC on October 24th.

Blacktoberfest the event is planned by Black Brew Culture and Harlem Brew South and is a celebration of our past and present cultural connection to beer, food and entertainment and the age-old concept of circular economics. Thirty Black-owned establishments come together throughout the month of October to showcase their respective talents in this inaugural festival of craft beer and culinary excellence.

Blacktoberfest the beer is the coming together over a common love for brewing and emphasizing the importance of combining our collective talents from the grain to the glass. In year one of this historic collaboration, eight Black-owned breweries and one Black-owned distributor unite to brew a beer that is as unique in its flavor profile as it is in the brewers themselves. An annual gathering that will include dozens, then hundreds, of Black brewers as the platform grows.
