Community Common Beer Release

On July 16, 2022 at Eleven Lakes Brewing in Cornelius, NC from 1-4pm we are releasing an amber cream ale beer called Community Common made with mostly malts from local maltster Carolina Malt House. We brewed this beer in collaboration local brewery, Eleven Lakes Brewing to pair with BBQ from local food truck, Mr. Hucks Food Truck.

ABOUT THE BEER: We call the beer Community Common because when local business collaborate the community benefits. The brew is a Kentucky Common style brew that we are calling a Carolina common. It is dark amber, almost brown in color. It has hints of toffee & caramel, a corn-like sweetness and is biscuity/bready with an ever so gentle rye spiciness and low hop bitterness. At 5% ABV this brew is easy drinking and pairs well with bbq flavors.

ABOUT THE FOOD: Mr. Huck's Food truck is a popular local food truck that specializes barbecue. Their offerings include slow smoked ribs, wings, brisket and pulled pork, chicken salad and a tsunami seafood salad. Side dishes include mac and cheese, bbq baked beans, coleslaw and pasta salad. 

Stop in and have a pint and some food and meet and greet the businesses involved in the community collaboration. We will also have bbq sauce, hot sauce, spices and tea for sale at the event.
